Linda V. Prachick, 82, of North Jackson, passed away on Monday, at the Hospice House in Poland.
Born August 8, 1941, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, Linda was the daughter of Manley and Elizabeth (McSephney) Cole.
Linda was a 1958 graduate of South High School and earned her Bachelor of Education from Youngstown State University. She worked for Youngstown City Schools for over 30 years and was a teacher at Woodrow Wilson and Chaney High School.
Linda was a member of our Lady of the Lakes Church in North Jackson. She was a member and on the Board of Directors of the Penn-Ohio Horseman Association. She was also a member of the Inter-County Horseman Association and the International Arabian Horseman Association. Linda loved horses, reading, and spending time with her grandson and two great-grandsons.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Charles Prachick Sr., whom she married September 5, 1959. She also leaves her sons Charles (Leesa) Prachick Jr. and James Prachick, her brother Robert (Cheryl) Cole, her grandson Michael Prachick and her great-grandsons Carter and Cameron.
