Mark Owens Obituary

Mark Wilson Owens, Jr., 55, of Niles, OH went to Heaven on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born October 22, 1969, in Warren, OH, the son of the late Mark W. and the late Gail (Drummond) Owens. Mark was a 1988 graduate of LaBrae High School and furthered his education at Lakeland Community College, where he received an associate degree in electrical technology. He was employed as a truck driver for Lindy Trucking and was a line supervisor for Ohio Edison. He loved working, doing block and concrete work, and coaching baseball and basketball for his sons. Mark was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Tammy Owens of Niles, OH; sons, Ryan M. Owens of Girard, OH and Nick J. Owens of Youngstown, OH; sisters, Kim Bright and Vicki Owens; brother, Dennis (Pam) Owens; grandson, Blake Mitchell; and Godson, Mason Bufano. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, March 28, 2025, at North Mar Church, where Pastor Paul Armitage will officiate. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Friday, March 28, 2025, at North Mar Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
