Mary Frasco

Mary passed away peacefully the morning of December 15, 2024 at Shepherd of the Valley in Liberty. Mary was born April 16, 1927 to Antonio and Mabel (Corvino) Guerriero. She lived in Struthers until her marriage to Sam Frasco on August 30, 1952 making their home first in Youngstown then Liberty. Sam and Mary were married 60 years until his death on November 20, 2012. Mary was an excellent baker. On Sunday gatherings with the extended family, everyone would enjoy Aunt Mary's baked goods.Mary was a member of St. Anthony Parish where she volunteered at their weekly pizza sales. She volunteered at their spaghetti dinners and with making Easter bread. In addition, Mary was a member of St. Dominic Church. She also attended the former St. Rocco Church where she assisted at the monthly cavatelli dinners. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Sam (Barbara) Frasco; a daughter, Anne Moran; and granddaughter, Kaitlin Moran. Mary also leaves a sister, Virginia (Mike) Fisher; sister-in-law, Patricia Guerriero; and an aunt, Minnie Edwards; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her sister, Elvera Martino; and her brothers, Frank Guerriero and Joseph Guerriero. Services will be at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1125 Turin Ave. Youngstown on Friday, December 20, 2024. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00am at the church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. The family would like to thank the staff at Shepherd of the Valley for their kindness and care shown to Mary.
