Myron Ethan CUNNINGHAM Sr.

Myron Ethan Cunningham Sr., 66, of 155 East State Street, Niles, OH, departed this life Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 6:50 p.m. at the Hospice House, following complications from an extended illness. He was born June 28, 1959 in Warren, OH, the son of James Carson and Mattie Lizzy Wimbush Cunningham Sr. Myron was employed with Signal Security Company for 1 year as a Security Officer and also worked as a Truck Driver for Swift Trucking Company. He was a 1977 graduate of North High School Akron, OH. His hobbies included fishing. He married Mary Komarc Cunningham August 2, 1995. Besides his wife of Niles, he leaves to mourn one son, Myron Ethan (Hanna) Cunningham Jr. of Fayetteville, AR; one stepson, Daniel (Anahi) Miller of El Paso, TX; two brothers, James Cunningham and Lawrence Cunningham both of Columbus; five sisters, Mrs. Virginia Simpson and Mrs. Joyce (Terry) Brogdon both of Warren, Ms. Gertrude Tucker of Charlotte NC, Ms. Ella Smith of Atlanta, GA and Ms. Gilda Cunningham of Warren and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ms. Ivy Turner and one brother, Hershel Wimbush. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 12:00 noon at the St. John's Church of God in Christ, with Calling Hours from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Condolences for the family may be sent to Mrs. Mary Cunningham Sr., 155 East State Street, Apt. 217, Niles, OH 44446.
