Nancy Manente Obituary

MINERAL RIDGE – Nancy L. Manente, age 85, entered into eternal rest Friday, October 3, 2025 at Hospice House in Poland, with her loving family at her side. She was born August 10, 1940 in DuBois, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Clyde Lynfred Palmer and Wilma (Mallete) Palmer Hughes, and had lived in Trumbull County over sixty years. Nancy worked in maintenance for Packard Electric, retiring in 1992 after thirty-one years of employment. She enjoyed working with ceramics and was a tremendous reader, going through a novel every week, keeping her mind sharp. Most of all, she loved her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she went out of her way to help others, being very generous with her time and treasure. Precious memories of Nancy live on with her beloved husband of nearly sixty-one years, Sam Manente, whom she married December 12, 1964; her son, Larry Manente of Dacula, Georgia; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ricky Miller of Waynesville, Ohio. Preceding her in death are her parents; her son, Mark Manente; and two sisters, Carol Geer and Lynn Morris. At this time, there are no services or calling hours planned. To celebrate Nancy's wonderful life, do a good deed for someone, and remember Nancy and her loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. Arrangements are entrusted to Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road NE, Warren, Ohio 44483, 330-394-6200. Dedicated To Serving Your Loved Ones.
