Pamela Rowe Obituary
Pamela Anne Cook Rowe, affectionately known as Pam to her friends and family, passed away at the age of 63 on October 11, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. Born on March 28, 1962, in Piqua, Ohio, Pam was a beacon of love and intelligence throughout her life.
Pam grew up in a close-knit family, the cherished daughter of Mont B. and Joan Cook, who preceded her in death. Her life was enriched by the love and companionship of her partner, James Steven White of Newton Falls, Ohio, and she fondly remembered her late husband, Danny G Rowe. Pam's family was a source of great pride, and she embraced her role as a stepmother to Scott (Helen) Rowe of Diamond, Ohio, and Brian (Tracy) Rowe of Champion, Ohio.
Her siblings, sisters, Linda Millard of Framingham, Massachusetts, June Olson and Dora (Ben) Zandarski of Howland, Ohio; and brothers, Michael (Lisa) Cook of Garrettsville, Ohio, and Benjamin (Tracy) Cook of Newton Township, Ohio, will remember her as a loving sister who brought joy and kindness into their lives.
Pam's commitment to caring for others shone brightly through her professional life. After graduating as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Choffin Career Center in Youngstown, Ohio, in 1992, she served as a Health Care Coordinator and Instructor at TCTC Adult Training Center, where she retired in 2020. Her compassionate spirit also guided her work at Longmeadow Rehabilitation Center in Ravenna, Ohio.
Pam lived her life through her actions, always putting others before herself and offering a helping hand whenever needed. Her interests were as diverse as her skills; she found solace and joy in cross-stitching, diamond painting, and playing cards. Pam's love for Mickey Mouse was well-known, as was her passion for watching Jeopardy, listening to country music, reading, and coloring. These simple pleasures brought her immense happiness and allowed her to share special moments with those she loved.
Pam will be remembered as a loving, kind, and intelligent individual whose presence uplifted everyone around her. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Pam's legacy of love, dedication, and generosity will not be forgotten, and her memory will be cherished forever by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Donations can be made in honor of Pam to the Healthy Hearts and Paws Project (healthyheartsproject.org).
A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2025 at the General Assembly Church of God, 2021 E. River Road, Newton Falls, Ohio 44444.
