Philomena Lachowski Obituary

WARREN – Philomena Lachowski, age 97, entered into eternal rest Monday, April 28, 2025 at Windsor House in Champion. She was born November 28, 1927 in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Ercole and Josephine (Funaro) Rotellini. On February 4, 1950, Philomena married Raymond Lachowski. They moved to Warren and started an incredible journey of seventy-four years of marriage before Ray's passing on August 3, 2024. Philomena was an exquisite homemaker who specialized in both Italian and Polish cooking, "the best of both worlds." She had been a member of the former Christ Our King Catholic Church and enjoyed bowling. Precious memories of Philomena live on with two children, Raymond Lachowski, Jr. (Ann) of Champion and Phyllis Hugley of Pinellas Park, Fla.; three grandchildren: Breanna Johnson, Martice Hugley, and Monique Hugley; fourteen great-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents; her beloved husband, Raymond Lachowski, Sr.; her daughter, Carol Anne Culp; two sisters; her grandson, Marlon Hugley; and one brother. Her urn will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Meadow Brook Memorial Park. Arrangements are entrusted to Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road NE, Warren, Ohio 44483, 330- 394-6200.
