Ray A. Daniel

Ray A. Daniel, 67, of 1061 Southern Boulevard, Warren, OH, departed this life Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 6:07 a.m. at Grande Village Manor of Aurora, following complications from a short illness. He was born April 2, 1957 in Luverne, AL, the son of Dorothy Daniel, living in the area for 65 years, coming from Luverne. Ray was employed with ArcelorMittal Warren, Republic Steel and LTV Steel for 42 years as a Foreman, before retiring in 2008. He was a 1975 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School. He was a member of the New Jerusalem Fellowship Church, where he was a Deacon. Ray was a volunteer for Inspiring Minds, past Board Member of the Shepherd of All God's Children Learning Center/Pre-school and enjoyed old school cars, jazz music and wine making. He married Carla Renee Coleman Daniel April 2, 1980. Besides his wife of Warren, he leaves to mourn three daughters, Ms. Onia Renee Daniel of Euclid, Mrs. Ranesha L. (Dontell) King of Cleveland and Ms. Erica Monique Daniel of Accra, Ghana; mother Dorothy Daniel of Warren; two sisters, Mrs. Felicia (Duane) Thomas and Ms. Pamela Daniel both of Masury; two grandchildren; his companion dog, Lola and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Jeffrey Daniel and Gary Daniel and one sister, Mrs. Gwendolyn Lampley. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 10, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the New Jerusalem Fellowship Church, with Calling Hours from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Pineview Memorial Park Cemetery.
