Rhonda Rowan Obituary

Rhonda Lee Rowan, age 54, of Andover, Ohio left this earth to join her Lord and Savior suddenly without warning, on Thursday August 8, 2024. Rhonda was born in Warren Ohio on April 9, 1970, to Marlene (Fleming) and Bobby Rowan. She is survived by her sister, Tricia (Bill) Conger of Cherry Valley, brother Dion (Jennifer) Rowan of Cortland, Ohio, stepfather, David Waters of Andover, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Marlene Waters, and father, Bobby Rowan. Rhonda graduated Pymatuning Valley High school, class of 1989, and also from the cosmetology class at the vocational school. Rhonda worked many years for Arbys, Kmart, Dairy Oasis, Kraftmaid, and ended her working career at Greenville hospital working as the telephone operator a few years prior to her passing due to health issues. Rhonda loved her church family at In Spirit & In Truth Fellowship. The sleepover that was held each year for the kids was one of her greatest joys. Rhonda had one of the most generous and giving hearts, if you knew her, you probably got a blanket or two made for you! It didn't matter what Rhonda was going thru or facing, whether it was health issues or hardships she held on tight and never gave up. She loved our LORD and would say love God first, pray and it will be alright. She loved everyone ALL of her family members and friends alike. She absolutely loved her church and church family. Rhonda had a heart of gold and would help everyone she could. She will surely be missed by all who knew her! she is now at Peace oh such memories she left us with. She loved butterflies, anything purple, eagles, sunsets and flowers. She enjoyed going to thrift and garage sales with her cousin, Carrie May, and she enjoyed going to bingo with her mom and Aunt Dean, and she enjoyed going traveling with longtime friend and mentor Carolyn Saltzmann. She held a very special place in her heart for all her nieces and nephews. However, the most special place was held for her Lord and Savior. She had the biggest faith and no matter what life threw at her, she always said its okay, the Lord will take care of it, hell take care of me. She fully trusted him with an unwavering faith. The family asks that in her memory you consider doing at least one small act of kindness for a stranger or someone you care about. There are no services at this time.
