Richard W. McKitrick

Richard W. McKitrick, 79, of Warren, OH passed unexpectedly, Saturday, May 10, 2025, at his home. He was born February 4, 1946, in Warren, OH, the son of the late Clyde McKitrick and the late Helen Louise (Gray) McKitrick. On February 17, 1969, he married Lynn McKitrick and they shared fifty-six years of marriage and many wonderful memories, including spending time at Jacks Lake where they met. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Richard loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and boating and was an avid sport fan. He loved his family, friends and sharing good food and fun. Richard was a manager at Century Link when he retired. He is survived by his wife, Lynn McKitrick; daughters, Erin (Glenn) Coons and Kerry Gantz; brother, Marvin McKitrick; grandchildren, Alexis Coons, Nicholas (Rachel Helmick) McAlister, Jacob McAlister, and Dylan Coons; and a large extended family and circle of friends he enjoyed spending time with. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James McKitrick; and sister, Marilyn Wilson. Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
