WARREN - Robert K. Brown, 81, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones in Warren, Ohio.
Robert was born on January 6, 1943, in New Martinsville, West Virginia, to the late Melvin A. Brown and Helen Edgell Brown. He led a fulfilling life characterized by hard work, dedication, and a love for family and friends.
For 31 years, Robert worked as a Loader for General Motors, earning respect and admiration among his colleagues for his commitment and teamwork. In addition to his professional achievements, Robert proudly served his country in the Army, an experience that shaped his character and values.
Robert’s life was rich with hobbies and interests that reflected his adventurous spirit. He found joy in hunting, bike riding, and was an avid marathon runner. His active lifestyle exemplified his love for the outdoors and his desire to stay engaged with life in all its forms.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Mattie E. Brown, as well as his daughters, Pamela Vingle of Salem, Ohio, and Loretta (Bryan) Ripple of Beavercreek, Ohio. He also leaves behind his son, Ronald (Valerie) Brown of Salem, Ohio, along with seven loving grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin A. Brown and Helen Edgell Brown, and his brothers, Melvin Brown and Charles J. Brown. He was also preceded in death by brother-in-laws Arlie Warren, Martin Warren, Joseph P., James N., Thomas J., and Henry, and sister-in-laws Lucy Hunt, Eunice Warren, and Jewel Warren. Their memories live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on November 13, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM, both at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home - Jackson-Milton Chapel, located at 439 S Salem-Warren Rd, North Jackson, Ohio.
In this time of loss, Robert K. Brown will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but also for the laughter, love, and passion he shared with everyone around him.
