On this 10th day of December, Robert "Bob" Frank Gaver took his final bow at home, surrounded by his loving family. On the 12th of October, on a Wednesday, back in 1949, Bob made his grand entrance into the loving arms of parents Robert Paul and Wanda Jean (Schuman) and was raised on God, Love, and family. That family included siblings Cindy, Wendy, John, Chris, Judy, and Joann.
Raised in the Nazarene Church, Bob started singing as a child. He enjoyed combining the love for God and the love for singing. His passion for music led him to become a song leader, music/choir director, performing and/or directing Easter dramas, Hosanna Ministries, Carnation City Players, a leader at Caravan, Bible school, and directing the Youth Bicentennial Choir.
After serving in the Army, it was the beat to his heart he married Connie (Kazer) on September 2, 1972, these two beats became parents to a trio of melodies, Heidi (Billy) Baughman, Carrie (Mark) Zurbrugg, and Rick. He is also survived by his little notes to carry his legacy, Skylar (Assia), Drew (Sky), D'kota, Piper, Demi, Tapanga, Natalie, Wesley and his quarter notes Adryan, Cornelius, Nova, Drew, Leiflynn, Kayden, Atreus and Troy. These notes in some way or form will continue to keep his song alive.
