Mark Steven Eckley, 67 of Stow passed away peacefully on March16, 2026.
Mark was born in Alliance Ohio on August 18, 1958, to the late Harry and Maxine (Wyss) Eckley. He was a graduate of Sebring High School where he played basketball. After high school, Mark went on to graduate from the Cincinnati Academy of Commercial Art and pursued a career in graphic design. His hobbies included Civil War reenactments, painting and he was a diehard Cleveland Indians, Browns, Cavs and Ohio State football fan.
Mark was an active member of the Holy Family Catholic Church where he participated as an usher, Eucharistic minister and was in the Knights of Columbus.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Harry (Skip) Eckley.
Mark is survived by his wife Cheryl (Chaffin) Eckley, daughter Amanda (Anthony) Ayr; son Nicholas (Madison) Eckley; grandchildren MaKenna, Karsyn, Briella, Raegan, Laural, Hunter and Carly; Aunt Shirley, Uncle Wes and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, Anthony's Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel, 3333 Kent Rd, Stow. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 25th at 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church. 3179 Kent Rd Stow, OH 44224
