Robert Kutchman Obituary

Robert A. "Bob" Kutchman, 65, of Hermitage, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Thursday afternoon, October 16, 2025, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. Kutchman was born February 14, 1960, in Spangler, PA, a son of Michael and Rose Marie (Slovick) Kutchman. A 1978 graduate of Hickory High School in Hermitage, he also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State University. Bob was working as a sales clerk at Hovis Auto & Truck Supply, Hermitage. He previously worked in the paint and mixture laboratory for Revelle Auto Parts, previously Abe Cohen Auto Supply in Hermitage. Bob was a member of the Church of Notre Dame in Hermitage. An avid gardener, he also had a lifelong passion for restoring classic cars alongside his brother, Jim. Bob is survived by his brother, James "Jim" Kutchman, Hermitage. Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine M. "Kay" Kutchman. The family suggests memorial donations be directed to the Church of Notre Dame, 2325 Highland Road, Hermitage, PA, 16148. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday (10-21-25) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday (10-22-25) in the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage, with Rev. John Miller, as celebrant. Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
