Robert Whittaker Obituary

Obituary Robert Lee (Bob) Whittaker Sr., 65, passed away unexpectedly at 6:08 a.m. on Friday July 28, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Belmont Health Center. Bob was born in Warren, Ohio on December 15,1957 the son of Bruce and Lillian (Tartar) Whittaker and lived in this area all his life Bob was a graduate of Mineral Ridge High School and of the Baptist faith and previously attended the Evansville Baptist Church. He was a bus driver and most recently a custodian for the Weathersfield School System with over 20 years of faithful service. He had a special love for his CUDA car and Harley Davidson motorcycle, along with his dog whom he called Wolfie. Bob is survived by two sons, Robert Lee "Bobby" (Lesley) Whittaker Jr. of Tomball, Texas, Shawn (Heather) Whittaker of Champion; Thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Gross of Niles and several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; the love of his life, Cindy Ambrose; two brothers, Donald Whittaker Kenneth Whittaker; and sister, Patricia Schmidt. At Bob's request there will be no calling hours. Bob's family and friends are invited to a celebration of his life on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 6:00pm at the Ice House Inn, 5516 West Webb Road, Austintown, Ohio. He will be buried privately with his family at Pineview Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are by the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, Niles.
