Ronald Kushner Obituary

YOUNGSTOWN RONALD JOHN KUSHNER 1946-2025 Ronald John Kushner, age 78, died peacefully on August 11, 2025 at Assumption Village, North Lima, OH where he had been a resident for the last 5 years. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Dorothy (Bernardich) Kushner of Boardman. A 1964 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, he later earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from YSU and his CPA. Ron worked several different jobs, as an office assistant at a dental supply company, at H&R Block and his final years before retiring at Paul Milligan Accounting in Boardman. Ron loved YSU and OSU football and was an avid fan. He was a devoted member of St. Catherine of Sienna- St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, serving as usher for many years, as well as a member of the Knight of Columbus there. He was also a member of the Croatian Club (St. George Lodge and ACC, Youngstown). He is remembered by his cousin Pat Faustino of Maryland along with his family, his good friend, Nancy Murar, and his trusted lawyer and friend of the family, Jim Davis. Ron's family and friends send their appreciation and thanks to his caregivers at Assumption Village. There will be a Mass of Christian burial on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, 10am at St. Catherine of Sienna Church in the chapel on Westview Drive in Boardman.
