Ronald Lehman Obituary

Ronald Hall Lehman, 75, of Bazetta Township, Ohio, passed away on August 7, 2025, at his home. Ron was born October 28, 1949, in Warren, Ohio, the son of Jean (Hall) Lehman and Kenneth Lehman. Ron graduated from Lakeview High School in 1967, then went on to the United States Air Force and served until honorably discharged in 1974. He trained at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas and then was an aircraft mechanic at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station. Ron married his loving wife Denise on August 14, 1971, at Cortland United Methodist Church. Ron and Denise would have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary next week. Their marriage was filled with love and great memories made with family and friends. His "Neicy" was always his first priority in life. Ron worked as a foreman at Delphi Packard. He worked for 31 years before retiring in 2000. Ron was well respected in his position and made many cherished friendships in his time working. Above all else, Ron cherished his family. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter Heidi and her family next door and visiting his daughter Kristen and her family in Wadsworth, Ohio. Ron especially loved gardening and golfing. You could always find him in his vegetable garden with his flip flops and his orange cat, Penny. He found great joy in taking care of his yard and landscaping. He also made time to golf every Tuesday and Thursday with his lifelong friends that meant so much to him. Ron was an active member of Cortland United Methodist Church, serving on various committees and worship services. Remaining to cherish Ron's memory are his wife Denise; daughters, Heidi (Mark) Harper and Kristen (Jake) Friedt; grandchildren, Dr. Meg Harper, Alton "AJ" (Abby) Harper, Samuel Harper, Jonah Friedt, and Autumn Friedt; twin brother, Donald (Shelly) Lehman and brother, Kenneth (Diane) Lehman; sister-in-law, Mary (Del) Lehman; friends Rita (John) Hottell; and his nieces and nephews who were dear to his heart. Preceding Ron in death are parents, Jean and Kenneth Lehman; brother, Del Lehman; and sister, Judy Anderson. Visitation will be held from 4-6pm on August 11, 2025, at Carl W Hall Funeral Service in Warren, Ohio, with funeral service to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ron's memory may be directed to the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation.
