Rosemary JOHNSON Obituary

Rosemary Johnson, 70, of Warren, OH departed this life Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 9:04 a.m. at Community Skilled Health Care Center. She was born January 20, 1955 in Warren, OH, the daughter of Dorothy M. Johnson, residing in Columbus for 19 years. Rosemary was employed with the Franklin County Health Department for 15 years as a Care Giver, before retiring. She also worked for the Cuyahoga County Women's Corrections Facility and was a 1974 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She was a member of the House of Prayer, where she sang in the Choir and enjoyed gospel music, watching and playing sports. She leaves to mourn her mother, Ms. Dorothy M. Johnson of Warren; one sister, Mrs. Renee J. Stringer of Youngstown and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Alphonso Johnson and Lamar Johnson. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the Monument of Faith Church of God in Christ, with Calling Hours from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Pineview Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home

I will never forget you, Rosemary. We were the best and fastest relay track team in 1970, Warren G. Harding. We both ran the 100 yd. Dash 1st and 2nd plc. in every event. I will always cherish these memories. Rest in Power my friend always in my heart
