He was raised and spent his whole life in Youngstown. Sam was a graduate of Boardman High School in 1976. He worked at Aero Aluminum for 14 years and Gasser Chair for 15 years. He is survived by his son Eric Yovanovich, his sisters Denise Yovanovich and Yvonne Black as well as his brother George Ormond Junior, nieces Anastasia and Stephanie and mother of Eric Yovanovich, Lynn Yovanovich. He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew Jordan. Calling hours will be held at Old Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 420 North Raccoon Road, on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 10am to 11am with a Mass of Eastern Orthodox Christian Burial to follow beginning at 11:00am.
