Samuel Troy Obituary

Warren – Samuel C. Troy, 87, of Warren passed away early Thursday morning, August 7, 2025, at his home in Warren. Sam was born July 17, 1938, in Warren the son of the late Sante and Carmella (Spagnola) Troy and was a lifelong area resident. He attended Leavittsburg local schools and served in the Ohio National Guard. He retired from WCI Steel and was a former member of the Church of God in Leavittsburg. Sam married the former Anita R. Fonce on August 4, 1977. Besides his wife Sam leaves three sons, Roy (Misty) Root, Dallas (Rhonda) Root Sr., and Samuel Troy, daughter, Rosemary Cibella, and brother, Anthony (Marianne) Troy, as well as 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Sam was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Root Jr. and Christopher Root. Following Sam's wishes there are no calling hours or services planed at this time.
