Sandra Berry Obituary

Sandra Jeane Berry, 79 of Howland lived her life "one day at a time" and went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on August 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 12, 1946, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Garcia G. Gant and Audrey Gant Cozzi. Sandra was a 1964 graduate of Howland High School and went on to graduate from the Respiratory Care Program at Thiel College. She retired in 2015 from Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital as a respiratory therapist. She was a devoted member of North Mar Church and enjoyed bible studies, volunteering, crocheting, reading and particularly trips to the ocean with her family. Sandra was blessed to have numerous in-laws, who have supported and loved her and her children for the years during her marriage to their brother and the continued support after his passing. Above all, Sandra will be remembered for her love, devotion and support for her family. A loving mother, nana, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. Her darling grandchildren were the light of her life; she loved them all so much and unconditionally. Sandra is survived by her children, Brett (Melissa) Berry, Trent (Julie) Berry, Trevor (Melissa) Berry, and Erin (Chad) Tricker; eight grandchildren, T.J. (Thomas John) and Emma Berry, Julian List, Camden and Lukah Berry, and Gage, Cole and Ella Tricker. She is also survived by a sister Paula (Kevin) Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband John (Tom) Berry, the love of her life whom she married December 21, 1965, and who passed away October 22, 1979. Family and friends may visit on Friday August 29, 2025 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Staton- Borowski Funeral Home 962 North Rd NE, Warren, where a celebration of life led by Pastor Jordan Biel will be held immediately following visitation at 3:00 pm. A celebration of life dinner will follow the service. Burial will take place on Saturday August 30, 2025 at All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta, next to her husband Tom. Yesterday

Sandra will be sadly missed by many neighbors and friends here at Shepherd of thr Valley Howland. Her smile could light up a room and she enjoyed the activities she attended. The last time I spoke to her was August 1st on her front porch and she was not feeling well but still enjoyed a nice visit. We are always sad to see a resident pass from our community. I send my dearest thoughts and prayers to her family.
