Shelby Ray Barrickman, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at his home in Champion, Ohio. Born on October 17, 1941, in Clay, West Virginia. He graduated from Warren Harding High School.
Shelby married Sandra Molnar on April 10, 1963. They enjoyed 61 years together raising their daughters Deanna (David) Nuccetelli and Jill (Philip) Miller, spending time with their beloved grandchildren, Alexander (Grace) Kuszmaul, Clayton Kuszmaul, and Trent Nuccetelli.
He enjoyed spending time fishing, golfing, woodworking, traveling, as well as spending time with his faithful dog Fletcher. Shelby retired from American International Group as a Regional Sales Manager leading a team supporting Warren and Youngstown, Ohio. Shelby is survived by his sisters, Leamoyne Cook and Keila Yale.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Goldner, father, Chester Barrickman, sister Wilma Sears, and mother-in-law, Isabel Molnar.
Calling hours will be held10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Lane Funeral Home, Roberts-Clark Chapel 180 Garfield Dr. NE Warren, OH 44483 with a prayer service to follow. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Champion, Ohio. Online condolences can be made at www.lanefuneralhomes.com.
