Sylvia L. Cromley

WARREN TOWNSHIP – Sylvia L. Cromley passed away at the age of 87 on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Hospice House in Poland. She was born December 11, 1937 in Warren, a daughter of the late William and Eloise (Kline) Lester. Sylvia was a graduate of James A. Garfield High School in Garrettsville and a General Motors retiree. Sylvia, whom many called "Aunt Cee," will be sadly missed by her sisters and many other family and friends. She is survived by two sisters, Shirley Biedenbach of York, Pennsylvania and Joanne Benson of Warren; one stepdaughter, Rosemary Cromley Britton (Kenneth) of Warren; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Charles E. Cromley, whom she married December 29, 1973; and two brothers, David Lester of Garrettsville and William L. Lester. Calling hours are 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, where services will begin at 7:00 pm Thursday, with Pastor Ron Starcher officiating. All who knew and loved Sylvia are invited to attend and celebrate her beautiful life. Burial at Champion Township Cemetery will be conducted privately.
