Terry Herman Obituary

Terry L. Herman, 59, of New Castle, passed away peacefully under hospice care late Friday evening, August 22, 2025, in Allegheny General Hospital, Wexford, PA. Terry was born December 1, 1965, a daughter of the late Thomas and Marjorie (McCleery) McComb. A lifelong area resident, she graduated from Lawrence County Vo-Tech in 1984. For most of her life, Terry worked as a nurse's aide. She enjoyed cooking, especially for her family on Sundays, and was a member of the Eagles Club, where she enjoyed socializing with friends. Her children and grandchildren were Terry's greatest blessing. She is survived by her daughter, Krystle McComb Ayala, and her son, Joey Herman, both of Edinburg; two grandchildren, A.J. Cassidy and Liliana Lizanich; a fiancé, Lou Leonard; and her dog, Ted. In addition to her parents, Terry was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Thomas, and Donald McComb; and two sisters, Adelaide Roberts and Marcia Hall. The family would like to express their gratitude to all the AHN workers for their exceptional kindness and care throughout her illness. In keeping with Terry's wishes, there will be no calling hours or service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McGonigleFuneralHomeandCrematory.com.
