Theodore "Bill" Leonard

NILES - With deepest sadness and a broken heart, we announce the passing of Niles' beloved Bill Leonard on February 4, 2023. Born on February 21, 1963, to Theodore and Ruth Leonard, Bill lived a life full of joy and dedication to his family and work. He was a hardworking man who spent over 30 years at Dinesol Plastics, serving in various roles, including supervisor, head process engineer, and truck driver. Bill was a passionate man, who loved to create and build things in his free time. He was especially fond of building R.C. cars, motorcycles, and guns. He was a true jack-of-all-trades, but most importantly, a loving father and grandfather. Bill leaves behind his cherished mother, his beloved daughters Amanda Elser (Ben) and Brittany Blanchard(Brett), his caring siblings Ken Leonard (Tracy), Lori Giesy (Scott), Kim Williams (EJ), Danielle Dakin, Tracey Lenney (Dennis), and Tim King (Lisa), as well as his adorable grandchildren Braydon (13), Talen (10), Peyton (8), Braxton (8), Bria (6), Addison (5), Grayson (2), and another grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by his father Theodore Leonard, and his stepfather Ronald King. Bill was a shining light in the lives of all who knew him, and his memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. May he rest in peace. A funeral service for Bill Leonard will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the funeral home. Visitation hours are from 2 pm, with the service beginning at 3 pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend one hour prior to the service.
