Theresa Skolnik

YOUNGSTOWN – Theresa Skolnik, 67, of Youngstown, passed away at her home on March 22, 2024, surrounded by her family. Theresa was born on January 27, 1957, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Semko Skolnik. She worked for the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services as a records keeper for many years. She enjoyed her flower gardens and supporting her favorite football team, the San Francisco 49ers. Theresa leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Jennifer Timlin and John Timlin, both of Youngstown; her grandchildren, Kenneth Cunningham of Girard, Angela Timlin of Youngstown, Gerald Cunningham of PA, John Timlin of Youngstown; great grandchildren Brayden, Carter, Kane, Rylee, Amilliana, and one on the way, Gracelyn; brother Joseph Skolnik Jr., of Youngstown; sisters Marilyn Barnhart of PA and Marguerite Allison of Nevada; many nieces and nephews; and her pets, Pat, Peanut, Starla and her baby, Sadie, and her favorite, her little poodle Cindy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Tracy; and her dog Amy. The family has entrusted arrangements to the Kubina Yuhasz Wasko Funeral Home, 5925 Market Street, Boardman, where they will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM.
