DeAnna L. (Edwards) LaBrensz

October 02 1939 -

October 28 2021

DeAnna was born in Los Angeles California to parents, Cecilia (Mitlowski) Edwards and Vern E. Edwards. At the age of 2, she and her family moved to Papillion Nebraska. In 1948, the family relocated to Hayward California, where she graduated high school in 1957.

DeAnna married Jimmie A. LaBrensz on March 2, 1963 in Carmel California. In 1966 they moved to Ashland Oregon. Later moving to Hillsboro and Salem Oregon. She was a grocery checker for most of her working years. In 1984, she and her husband bought and operated a convenience market in Independence Oregon. She retired in 1998 and they moved to Talent Oregon.

DeAnna and her husband enjoyed being involved in many functions with the Elks in both Keizer and Ashland Lodges. They also enjoyed traveling in their motorhome and camping with friends.

Surviving are her son Gary (Lorie) LaBrensz of Phoenix, 2 grandchildern Jessica Williams (J.J.) and Pete Calhoun, and great grandchildren, Makayla Calhoun, Jarret and Jillian Williams. She also leaves sister Susan Rivers and brother Gregory Edwards, plus nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death was her mother and father in 2001 and her husband Jimmie in 2011.
