Jacob Wood Obituary
Jacob D. Wood passed away on March 29, 2007 in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of the Epiphany in Oak Park, Calif. Vicar, Hank Mitchel will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2007.
Jacob was born on April 15, 1933 in Rexburg, Idaho to Joseph and Ida Wood. He was the owner of Rogue River Ranch in Central Point, Ore. He was a part of Oregon's Cattlemen's Association, Jackson County Cattlemen's Association, Board of Directors for Table Rock Irrigation and the California Yacht Club.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria H. Wood; daughter, Catherine L. Cardoza (Wood); son, Jacob J. Wood; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and family. Preceding him in death are his brother; two sisters; one step-daughter; and one granddaughter.

Grandpa wood, i miss you dearly. I'm always thinking about you. Sometimes, i'll just bust into tears just thinking about you not being here. But, i know you're in a better place now. Grandpa was a great man. I loved him so much and will always love him. Atleast I know that he is heaven. Sailing through the clouds of heaven. He probobly started his own cow buisness. Uncle Jake taught me everything their was to know about the stars in the sky when we went on trips to Lake Powell. I am truly sorry that time went by so fast as it does and I did not have the chance to see or tell him thank you for his impact on my life.

My Great Grandpa Wood was a character and a GREAT man! He always seemed to know what he was doing. He lived life to the fullest! He has inspired me to do the same; strive to do my best and settle for nothing less. He has made a difference in so many people's lives, including mine. We will all miss him so much!
