James Loving Obituary

James D. Loving
Jim Loving passed away at his home in Eagle Point, Ore., on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008. Jim was born Oct. 3, 1942 in Waynesboro, Va, to Ted and Ruth Loving.
Jim Served in the U.S. Air Force from 1959-1971 as an air traffic controller. He went to work at some of the busiest airports in the country, ending his career at DFW, Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. While working in Austin Tx. during the LBJ administration, Jim was very proud of his security clearance to land Air Force One whenever LBJ visited the Western White House.
Jim leaves behind an extended family that loved him very much and will miss him every day. His life partner, Deanna Cooley; son, Scott Loving, of Dallas Tx.; daughter, Sandy Cromwell (Darryle) of Ada, OK.; stepson, Chris Cooley (Becky), of Medford, Ore., grandchildren, Austin, Maggie, Christopher and Mason; brothers, Bill Loving, of Waynesboro, Va., and Steve Loving, of Lyndhurst, Va.; and sister, Jill Burford, of Stuarts Draft, Va.
Jim will be buried at Siskiyou Memorial Park in Medford, Ore. He requested donations be made to Ronald Mcdonald House Charities of Oregon and Southwest Washington, 2620 N. Commercial Ave., Portland, Ore., 97227. (971) 230-6700.
