AlwYs a gentleman an extremely handsome in his prime.
Life changed in a wink when he met Carol an Mike fell pretty hard.

So sad to hear. I remember living on Prescott court across
The street from their red house with a full brick wall around their garage.
He had a great smile and brought light to any situation. I remember a time when the Fischer family joined us at Diamond Lake at my family´s cabin.
There was an old cranky geezer who owned a cabin across from ours, got super mad at how loud me my brother and sisters and their kids were. The man was swearing at my dad. My dad said to the man I don´t appreciate you cussing in front of my kids. Then Mike went on to say " would you like a beer?" The man said that would be great. The man completely mellowed out and talked with us for quite a while. I won´t ever forget that story. Mike was always able to diffuse situations.
I remember the time his basketball team came and invited my dad to play at the colosseum and got to see a Blazer game. Matt and I got to shoot hoops on the court. That was a highlight of my life. After their basketball game we stayed and watched Blazers play the Houston Rockets and snapped their 15 game winning streak with a 106-98 overtime win. The reason I bring that up is because I remember that time with Mike so well.
The Larson family will miss you and may the Lord bring comfort to the Fischer family.

Carol, Eric, and Gregory,
We were so sorry to hear you lost Mike. Mike was the sort of person that you always enjoyed running into. As mentioned, he always had a smile and you came away feeling better for seeing him. In all the years we´ve known him, we never heard him say anything negative which is an incredibly special quality. We are better to have known him.
