William "Bill" Thomas Lynch was born March 23, 1935, in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. He passed away peacefully in his home of natural causes on August 28, 2022, at the age of 87.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Gerald and Marie Lynch and siblings Donald Lynch, Betty Ross, Frances Naugle, Jean Grantland, Irene Conrad, and Kenneth Lynch all of Dartmouth Nova Scotia, Canada. He is Survived by his wife Sandra Lynch of Medford OR, and brothers Doug Lynch (Jean)of Toronto Canada and Joe Lynch of Prince Edward Island Canada. Children Robert Lynch (Jennifer) Medford OR, Heather Johnson El Centro CA, Yvonne Miranda (Rommel), Naperville IL, Michael Torano (Caroline) Fayetteville NC, Eleven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Bill followed his sister Jean Grantland to the United States and settled in Phoenix with his 2 children in March of 1969. He met the love of his life Sandra and her 2 children and they were married on October 28, 1972 and blended their families.
Bill was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and golf. As a young man Bill paddled for the MicMac boating club qualifying for the 1956 Canadian Olympic paddle team.
Bill was owner of the True Value Hardware store in Phoenix OR, for several years and then became a general contractor retiring in 2018.
The family is planning a celebration of life on what would have been his 88th birthday, March 23, 2023. Arrangements will be made by Memory Gardens Mortuary.
