Anita was born in Waterville, Aug. 11, 1924, the daughter of Elmer and Gwendolyn McCorrison. She attended Waterville schools and was a homemaker who devoted her life to her beloved family. She lived in the Smithfield and Oakland area and spent the last years of her life happily at Island Apartments in Fairfield where she made many wonderful friends including a special friend Joyce Cronk.
December 23, 1942 she married the love her of her life, Roland C. Sinclair of Plymouth and they enjoyed 57 years together. Anita especially loved watching and feeding birds and wildlife. She once took photos of 60 turkeys in her yard. She made Afghans for all her loved ones and was always creating more. Going out to eat, shopping and watching the news shows were some other favorite past times. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her main focus and she shared love galore with each and every one. Her spirit, belief in her Creator and wonderful sense of humor is an inspiration to us all. The expression she used frequently "By gory diamonds" will live with us forever. She made friends wherever she went and loved to share funny stories with all. She was a patient care-giver to a special needs daughter for over 50 years, a member of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and attended monthly Waterville Senior High School class reunions. She was a loyal member of the Fairfield Baptist Church and sang in the choir until a few months ago.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roland; infant son, George R. Sinclair; one brother George E. McCorrison; and one sister Ernestine Fisher.
Anita is survived by her loving children and their spouses, three daughters, Carol Ouellette and husband Mike of Pittsfield, Barbara Butler and husband Ken of Winslow, and Elaine Sinclair of Winslow; a son, Mike Sinclair and wife Mary, a special daughter-in-law of Brewer; ten grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and many step-grandchildren of whom she was very proud; two beloved sisters, Glenna Bernard and husband Bob of Gorham, and Joann Philbrook and her son Charlie of Kittery Point; and many devoted nieces and nephews.

Aunt Skeet, will live always in my heart. She was always so joyful. We laughed so hard when I caught my first eel, sure glad she remembered to bring a knife along to cut the line. She was the brave one. Not me. What great and loving memories.
