She attended Rhode Island area schools and graduated from Shea High School in 1959. She was employed by Genpak Corp. until 1989, and worked for Burrillville Bus Co. Caroline had many hobbies and interests, and enjoyed many churches of many faiths and wanted to learn about each religion. She also loved fly fishing, being in the great outdoors, had a life passion of country music, and watching her granddaughter, Caytlynn, play ice hockey, and her grandsons, Hunter and Mason, play soccer. She enjoyed her special nights of card games with her friends, and will be greatly missed. Caroline was devoted to her family and friends and her greatest joy was cherishing time spent with them.
Caroline is survived by her daughter, Gwen Daigneault, and husband John, of Glendale, R.I.; a son, Kurt Salvas, and wife Izidia, of Douglas, Mass.; granddaughter Caytlynn Diagneault, of Glendale, R.I.; two grandsons, Hunter and Mason Salvas, of Douglas, Mass.; and lifelong companion, Homer Bates, of Harmony.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. A graveside service will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements under the care and direction of Dan & Scott's Cremation & Funeral Service, 445 Waterville Road, Skowhegan.
