Dale R. Willits
1954 - 2017
LEWISTON - Dale R. Willits, 63, passed away of prolonged heart condition Sunday, April 23 2017, at CMMC of Lewiston. He was born April 9, 1954, in Miami, Fla. to Ralph and June (Pullen) Willits of Florida.
Dale was a long term member of 12 Step Recovery Programs, who enjoyed his friends and meetings. He enjoyed life, through outdoors recreation, dining out, and going to weekend get a ways. He worked 30 years at Progressive Distributors in Winthrop. He graduated in class of 1972 at Hialeah High School, of Hialeah Fla.
He joined his father, Ralph Willits, in heaven.
He is survived by his mother June (Pullen) Willits; and sister, Leslie Newmans; his son Matthew Willits (Ft. Drum, N.Y.) and significant other Vikki, and his grandson Logan A. Willits; his daughter Caitlin "Caitie" Willits ( of Augusta,); his fiancé Susan Marchetti, along with her son Ryan and wife Angie Marchetti, and sons Sam and Gabe (who Dale loved as his own).
Family, friends, and others whose lives Dale touched are invited to PRINCE OF PEACE CHURCH on Friday April 28, 209 Eastern Ave., Augusta ME 04330 (4 p.m. - 7 p.m. with celebration of life starting at 5 p.m.).
