So sorry to learn this today. We know how much he loved and enjoyed Great Pond. It is such a beautiful place. We also know personally how many people he helped through the Farmington Valley Re-employment group. Our thoughts are with the family.

Kay and Family, I was so sorry to hear of Ernie's passing. I am in FL and will not be able to attend Ernie's services. I know how difficult it is to lose someone you are close with for a long period of time. You do have many memories of the good times you had together to help ease the pain of a loss.Betty & I enjoyed our time with you and Ernie when visiting you in Maine. I will say a few prayers, God Bless you and the Family.

I worked with Ernie in Human Resources at Travelers for a number of years. I consider Ernie to be one of the greatest leaders I've had the opportunity to work with. Thinking back I can remember Ernie was always proud that he could provide a phone number w/o ever having to look it up in the directory -- he kept a virtual directory in his head! Ernie was also so proud of his family--he would talk about each and every one of them all of the time. I will remember Ernie fondly and am saddened to hear about his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
