Gerry Pottle Obituary

FAIRFIELD - Gerry Ernest Pottle was born in Albion on June 11, 1949 and passed Jan. 4, 2019, in Portland. Earlier in life he was a woodsman, laborer in the union, and he also worked for Kirchner. Gerry loved fishing and hunting. He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Hester Pottle; sister Valerie Costain, and brother Donald Pottle. He is survived by daughter Noelle and husband Mark Dodd of Orange, Calif., son Ryan Pottle of Clearwater, Fla.; grandchildren Tyler Colford, Gregory and Ashlinn Dodd; siblings, Lawrence Pottle Jr. and wife Audrey, Janice Harmon, Allan Pottle, Linda Douglas and husband Steve, brother-in-law Robert Costain; aunts, Thelma Seaman, Julia Raven, Faye Pottle, and uncle, Bill Peavey; and loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Many thanks to Maine Medical Center for the care they provided. Graveside service in the spring at Brown Cemetery in Benton. Arrangements are being made by Scott and Dan's Cremation and Funeral Service Skowhegan. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his memory to help with burial expenses mailed to: Crystal Pottle 308 East Benton Rd.Benton, ME 04901

I am so sad to hear this news. I loved to hear Gerrys stories and antidotes on everyday life. He will be sorely missed by a lot of people. My condolences to all his family.

My condolences to his daughter Noelle and her children who are his only grandchildren. To his Son Vincent (Ryan). Also to the rest of the families which he loved know he is no longer in pain. Yvonne
