Jean *Jeannie" was always so kind to me when I was a child. I remember her and her beautiful long red hair. I was always in awe of her as a child, as she was one of my first babysitters. A truly great lady.
Sending my sympathies on her passing.

For John & Tim
ODE TO MOTHER JEAN
As I drift to sleep on Winnecook Road
in peace and dreams forever more
The wood and meadow shall be my home
My spirit dances with the wind
In Winnecook Woods
I've become part of the bigger picture
In scent of pine
In sounds of birds singing
In wisps of wind through autumn leaves
The newly fallen snow brings serenity
My spirit lives here where it always has
And I dream in peace forever more
Take comfort in memories John & Tim

Very sorry to hear this, I have many great memories or her and the farm. She never minded putting up with me and Jimmy coming up in the summer for 1 or 2 weeks.

I was just a young teen when Jean joined the Simeone family. She always treated us kids with much love.

So sorry for your loss Tim and Kim (and all). Your mom will always be a warm smiling soul in those high school era memories! I'm glad to have known her during those few years "way back when".
