She was born Dec. 26, 1967, in Portland, the daughter of Ovila and Zelica (Barlow) Bosseneau.
Jo grew up in the North Anson area and attended Carrabec High School. She had been employed as a CNA at Maplecrest Rehab. & Living Center in Madison and more recently at Plymouth Living Care Center in Plymouth, Mass. She had also worked in home health care.
Jo was an avid outdoor person who enjoyed hunting and fishing. She loved time spent with her grandchildren as well as other family members.
She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Joseph Barlow; and Buck and Viola Downs, who helped raise her.
She is survived by her daughters, Nicole Berube, and her husband, Dan, and Natasha Vicaire of Belgrade; grandchildren Josiah, Sierra, Alivia and Carl; step-grandchildren Kayden and Haley; her partner, Dennis Nile, of North Anson; her brothers, Steve Barlow of Portland, and Lloyd Downs III; her sisters, Valerie and Joanne; and several aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are by Giberson Funeral Home, 40 Maple St., Madison.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of my friend/ co worker Jo.My thoughts and prayers are with her parents and daughter and grandchildren. She spoke of them frequently. my heart goes out to you. She was a special soul, worked so hard,loyal heart of gold she will be missed.danielle metz
