To the Hayden family:
When I first met Joe, it was like we had been friends for years.
So grateful that we shared time together chatting about his history and family. He loved all of you dearly and he was so proud.
Joe was special to me because I could see myself in him: I too enjoy "tending" to things.
Joe taught me to be decent to everyone, I will remember this throughout my life.
Wish we had more time together.

Karen & families,
We're so very sorry that you've lost one so special to you. Your dad was most definitely one of the sweetest, most kind-hearted men we've known. I'm sure he's left you with many wonderful memories that will help you smile through your grief as you think of him and remember what he brought to you in your lives. I'm glad we were able to share times together as our families have blended.

Sending you all hugs and condolences. Joe and all of the family were so much apart of my own growing up. He was a dear kind soul and I am so glad I had the opportunity to by chance see him again a Ken's this winter with Dad. Brought back some great old memories. Sending love and prayers. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. He was a very nice man. I have one of those many beautiful cabinets he made over the years, and I love it. Will think of him often now looking at that cabinet. Sandra
