June E. Raven
1951 - 2017
FREEDOM - June E. Raven, born June 29, 1951 to Floyd and Julia (Doughty) Raven, passed away on June 5, 2017. She was a graduate of Mount View High School and Presque Isle College. She also attended Bible College in Bangor.
June had a great faith in God. She loved her bicycles and rode a motorcycle for many years. She played basketball in school and loved to knit. June worked at Hathaway for years, Little River Apparel in Belfast and Freedom General in Freedom. She was a great daughter, sister, and friend and will be missed and loved forever.
June was predeceased by her father; her brother Floyd; sister-in-law Marguerite Raven Jr., and special brother-in-law Fred Overlock. She is survived by her mother Julia; three sisters, Dee Overlock and family of Freedom, Karen Seehafer and husband Larry and family of Wisconsin, and Jean Jones and husband Scott and family of Freedom, two brothers Shawn Raven and family of Knox and Mark Raven of Freedom; and her nieces and nephews, whom June considered her own children. She went to all of their games, practices, church and Awana.
