Many childhood memories come from spending time at Grammy's house. Her favorite Atari game was break through. She would always say "shee-hit, shee-hit" when it wasn't going her way. She had a wonderful sense of humor. If I had the hick-ups she'd tease and embarrass me by saying think of your boyfriend. It always got rid of them. She would laugh at Rollie and Russell pretending to be Roscoe and Enus from the Dukes of Hazzard. She didn't think Angie needed any more holes in her head when she wanted pierced ears but then Grammy got hers done. One of my favorite Christmas gifts was her knitted mittens. There are so many great memories. I will miss her dearly but will not forget those wonderful times together.

Lila was a great comfort to my Mother in her later years. I always appreciated her willingness to do for others, her cheerful ways and her sense of humor...she certainly lightened many a moment for me. I will miss her.
