Lillian Sullivan Obituary

Lillian "Lil" Sullivan, 94, born Feb 6, 1917, died March 12, 2011, at her home with her daughter at her side in Vero Beach, Fla., after a long illness.

A long-time resident of Jackman, Maine, Ms. Sullivan was married to John (Jack) Sullivan, who predeceased her in 2004 ,and maintained a home for 70 years in Jackman.

Lillian "Lil" Sullivan was active in many activities while living in Jackman, well-loved by many of the people in the community to which she contributed -- including the Jackman Health Center and the Catholic Church. Jack and Lil hunted and fished and kept a beautiful garden on Pleasant Street. They loved their life in Jackman.

Lil Sullivans survivors include a son, William, and Kathy Savino of Oakdale, N.Y.; a son, Thomas, and Joan Savino of Irvine, Calif.; a daughter, Lilyan, and Chris Sievernich of Los Angeles, Calif.; a son, Joseph Savino, of Henderson, Nev. She is predeased by her daughter, Jo Ann Fogg (George) of Dallas, Texas; and her first husband, Joseph Savino. She had eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Her celebration of the Mass and funeral were held on March 14 in Vero Beach, Fla. Donations in her name to the Jackman Health Center greatly appreciated by the family.
