Mark Brann Obituary

Mark Brann Sr.
1968 - 2016
WATERVILLE - Mark Brann Sr., 48, passed away of natural causes on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016. He was born in Augusta on July 22, 1968, the son of Frances (James) Brann and Clarence Brann.
He graduated from Erskine Academy in 1987 as an honor student. He then worked at Bath Iron Works for a brief period before joining the Windsor Volunteer Fire Department, where he was a loved, honored and respected member for over 25 years. He had also been an EMT with Windsor for many years.
Mark worked for J & S Oil for 17 years, where he won employee of the year award several times. He was a hard worker and leader in many areas of his life, however, his greatest accomplishment was being an amazing father of 26 years.
He enjoyed car shows, time with his children and grandchildren, Sundays, relaxing near the ocean, and making people smile with his strong personality and humor. The greatest gift he left us with was his fun spirit, beautiful smile, and the strength to never give up without a fight.
Mark is survived by his parents Frances and Clarence Brann; two brothers, Patrick and his wife Kim Brann and Roland and wife Tracy Dyer, one sister, Joyce and husband Ralph Gilbert; two children, Nicole and husband Steve Poulin, and Mark Brann and fiancée Kristina Reider. He is also survived by several grandchildren who love and adore him; and many nieces and nephews.
There are no public visiting hours planned. A private service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Plummer Funeral Home, 983 Ridge Road, Windsor. Condolences, photos and memories may be shared at www.plummerfh.com.

To the Brann Family - I am so sorry to learn of Mark's passing. I always enjoyed spending time with him, whether performing fire department tasks or just having him stop by my house to show off his latest set of wheels - he was like a little kid when it came to his "toys"! My prayers are with you all.
