I'm sorry for your trouble, Mary. I just found out. I'm shocked and saddened. I loved Paul and I treasure all the memories of all the laughs and good times we shared. Paul was a great talent, a truly good person and a lot of fun. And way too young to leave us. Life really is not fair.

Paul, I'm very grateful that I got to know you. Thank you so much for your creative passion, support, and enthusiasm that you generously shared with me and many others. (My life-sized painting of a bull moose at E. J. Prescott Corp. for one example, without your intervention would still be anatomically challenged!)
I wish so much that I could have been at your home and studio today to help celebrate and pay tribute to a true pillar of Hallowell and iconic artist.

Mary - My memory of Paul is, of course, closely linked to you. You two were inseparable. The images that flood my mind are of those laughing/happy times we played cards or sat on the deck at your camp.
While I can not be with you today at the memorial service, please know that I grieve with you.

It is a sad day to lose a talent of the magnitude of Paul Plumer. We go way back to Ad Media and he also did many drawings that I used in real estate advertising. He was a fine gentleman that was very generous with his talent and time. My deepest condolences to Mary and the Family during their time of bereavement. Bill Ottmann, Orinda, Ca.

Aunt Mary, Peter and family --
I am so saddened to hear of Paul’s death. He was and will remain in my heart forever. Talent, genius, tenacity and just pure love of life for all those around him were demonstrated through his work and throughout his life.
The community and the world have definitely lost a wonderful human being and each of us have lost a piece of our heart. I extend my heartfelt condolences to each of you.
Paul is now painting and sculpting the heavens in a sailboat, the mast’s flying with the winds!
Love to the entire family!
