She was born June 23, 1948, in Farmington, a daughter of Herbert and Agnes (Metcalf) Hall. She attended Farm-ington schools and earned a General Educational Devel-opment diploma.
For 35 years she was married to Glen Meader of Farmington, the father of her children.
For a number of years, Sally worked at the Gee Egg Farms in Chesterville and for 16 years was employed at Renys in downtown Farmington. She also worked at Hannaford in Waterville.
Her priority was her family. She shared her love of music, reading, gardening and cooking with her family and was noted for making her famous homemade spaghetti sauce and whoopie pies.
She is survived by her partner of 10 years, Stan Frautten, of Waterville; one son, Terry Meader, of Monmouth; one daughter, Christine Leathers, and husband Jim, of Pennsylvania; a brother, Peter Hall, of Portland; a sister, Sandra Richardson, and husband Jim, of Buxton; five grandchildren, Caitlyn Carl, Ross Carl, Alex Meader, Zachari Meader and Abram Meader; two great-grandchildren, Jalynn Morang and Jeremiah Morang; and special "family" members, Betty Meader, Geoff Miller, Tricia Thomas, Marchelle Meader, Sharon Frost; and her beloved dog, Bear. She was predeceased by her folks; a son, Jason Meader, who passed in 2004; and a sister, Maryanne.
Family and friends are welcome to attend memorial visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, from Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Road, U.S. Route 2 and Route 27, Farmington, where public memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Laura Church officiating.
Gifts may be given in her memory to the Franklin County Animal Shelter, 550 Industry Road, Farmington, ME 04938. Condolences and tributes may be shared with her family on her memorial wall at www.wilesrc.com. Winter inurnment will be at the funeral home. Spring committal services will be at North Vienna Cemetery, Tower Road.

Chris, Caitlyn, and Ross so sorry to hear of your loss. It is very hard but think of the good times and I promise you, a smile will come over your face.
