Rob and Laurie,
Your mom was a best friend to Betty and I for most of our lives. She was always there when anyone needed help and she never hesitated to volunteer for a civic responsibility. When we needed a candidate for vice president of the Anson Academy Alumni Association she immediately stepped up and later agreed to serve as Treasurer of the Anson Academy Association.
She was a wonderful friend and mom and she will be sorely missed by her many friends.
Please accept our sincere condolences. Mary Ann and I are in New Jersey visiting our grandchildren otherwise we would be there in person.

Robbie and Laurie:
So sorry to hear about your mom passing away. I swear that I laughed every time I spoke with her. She always asked for updates on my life and family and looked on the bright side of things. She was just as much my friend as the "mom" of my good friends. Take care and God blessed you with a great Mom!

My deepest sympathy to Sandra's family. Sandra and I were born one month apart in Anson. The short treck from Anson to North Anson separated us for many years after her family moved there when we were around age 6. Thankfully, we reunited two-years ago. The friendship of our youth rekindled immediately. Like all - I will miss this grand and caring person.
