Adam Willwerth Obituary

Adam Willwerth 1961 - 2018 ST. LOUIS, MO. - Adam Willwerth passed unexpectedly on Aug. 25, 2018 from a sudden cardiac event. He was 57 years old. Adam grew up around Spring Valley, N.Y. and enlisted in the U.S. Navy after high school. He rose quickly to become Master Chief and earn his MBA. He became an effective leader and teacher, and always helped to advance the careers of his colleagues. After 21 years of service, Adam retired to North Yarmouth, Maine, and achieved success in the private sector bringing a new industrial product to market. This spring, after years of traveling the globe and building an international sales team, he took the brand from zero to $100 million dollars in sales. When Adam was not on the road, he was with his family and friends. To us he was full of love for life. He was very easygoing, funny, and loving. We celebrated the time we had together with beautiful meals he prepared, Scrabble tournaments, stories read and told, and adventures exploring the world. Adam taught us how to move outside our comfort zones, to be resilient, and to navigate through any part of the world. He taught us that home was not necessarily a place, but that home was when we were together. Most importantly, he taught us everyone deserves respect regardless of status. We are heartbroken that he was taken too soon, but we are very grateful for the bold, colorful life we shared and will always celebrate our time together. - Your loving family
