Cecile Rouillard Bolger, 84
SANFORD - Cecile R. Bolger, 84, passed peacefully on Nov. 20, 2017 at the Lodges Care Center in Springvale.
Cecile was born on May 6, 1933 in Sanford, the daughter of Joseph and Rose Anna (Bruneau) Rouillard.
Cecile began working at Mailhot's Clothing Store and in the local shoe shops, but her first priority and love was being a homemaker and Mom. Cecile enjoyed crocheting afghans, dancing, and making jigsaw puzzles and playing cards. A special highlight of her day was having her great-grandchildren come for a visit. She also enjoyed spending the day at their cottage on Mirror Lake in Newfield. Cecile also loved day trips and finding a great restaurant to have lunch.
Cecile was very happy and content to be at the Lodges. She was blessed with the wonderful friendship she shared with Real L'Heureux. Cecile possessed a great sense of humor and loved to share in a good story or joke.
She is lovingly survived by four daughters, Kathleen Booker and husband Kenneth, Janet Berard Doyle and husband Richard, Donna Libby and husband David and Karen Larrabee and husband George; two grandchildren, Kenneth Booker, Jr. and Krista Pelletier; three special great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Eli and Emma; her sister, Rhea Charpentier; and many nieces and nephews.
Cecile was predeceased by the father of her children, John Berard, and by her second husband, Donald Bolger, and by two brothers, Maurice and Ronald Rouillard, and two sisters, Noella Ryder and Laurette Bourque.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, Nov. 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Theresa of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church, 66 North Ave., in Sanford. Committal prayers and burial will follow at the Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery, 83 Stanley Rd., in Springvale.
