Charlie! I can't believe this. But you got to the present moment before me. I will miss you extremely much! You and I talked about happiness. This is interfering with mine....With very much love, Ann Rothschild

You couldn't stop a puck, Charlie. I know that because I couldn't shoot hard. End of goalie try-out! Doubt you ever won a spelling bee either! But you sure as hell were good at a lot of things - including being a friend.
Though we saw each other only occasionally in recent years, I am blessed with 60 years of great memories - as is Barbara. God Bless in TKO. Dave Ham - Bowdoin Zete 1957

Charlie: You never knew the word "No!" A generous, warm compassionate human being, you will be missed. Thanks for all your efforts on behalf of those in need from health care at Lahey Clinic to those in the sailing world. May you now have smooth seas and following winds. Rich Miner

Charlie
You were a shooting star across my life.
I will always remember the plague behind your desk:
"A ship is safe in port,
But that is not what ships are made for!"

Charlie you were a shooting star across my life's sky.
I will never forget the plaque behind your desk
"Ships are safe in port
But that is not what ships are made for!"
I am forever saddened.
