I am so sorry to hear of Darryl's passing. It seems like only yesterday that his awesome Mom Frances was teaching me how to put the pork in the cans at of course B&M Baked Beans. I, as Darryl, was a B&M'r a short timer though compared to Darryl, only having 21 years there. Darryl became our Boss and please believe me it never, never changed or went to Darryl's head, we had work to do and we did it, if needed Darryl always jumped right in whether he had his Red Hard Hat (Boss) on vs. our White Hard Hats (Workers)and of course anyone that knows Darryl knows he never said much then nor really much during or after. A very quiet man, at 1 Bean Pot Circle anyways....My Sincere Sympathy to Susan and family. A friend and fellow B&M'r-Jane Goddard-Orne

I have many fond memories of Darryl from over the years. He and Ronnie Barbour used to play basketball at my house when we were all young. As we grew older we hung in some of the same crowds in High School and then in our adult lives we attended many of the same events and Little League games, since our kids were in the same age bracket.... Darryl was one of the "good ones". My deepest sympathies to his family.

Darryl reported to me at B&M for about 20 of those 40 years and I was one of the most decent people I have known. In his quiet way, I found he had keen powers of observation. He could be relied upon for an honest opinion and to help solve difficult problems. My condolences to Susan and the rest of his loving family.
